**Your opportunity**:
We hire outstanding people from a variety of backgrounds and currently seek a Coordinator, Major Gifts to join our diverse group of talent. The mission of the Major Gifts team within DUA is to drive fundraising success at the $50K-$5M+ level in support of a broad array of programs and priorities across the university. Our driven and collegial team of frontline fundraisers and operations staff contribute to and support the ambitious fundraising objectives of partner divisions, university leaders, and special initiatives. We also take a special focus on regional fundraising in North America and Europe. This requires taking a collaborative approach across a complex and decentralized fundraising environment.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Collecting and passing on information on prospective donors
- Providing detailed information for the development of donor relations and stewardship programs
- Collating briefing package materials for meetings
- Updating prospect databases and portfolios
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of information
- Collecting and passing on donation and payment information for processing
- Maintaining senior staff calendars
- Collecting and submitting expense reimbursement claims

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three years experience in administration, preferably in a non-profit fundraising setting.
- Experience with fundraising database ARBOR or related database required.
- Experience maintaining both electronic and paper files for multiple team members.
- Experience preparing reports from multiple data sources.
- Experience drafting communication pieces.
- Ability to set priorities and targets and to meet deadlines in relation to frequently changing demands.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, set and reorder priorities and take action in an anticipatory manner with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural situations and acrossa wide range of audiences.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
- Demonstrated advanced computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Zoom, database and fundraising software.
- Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for a diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills in developing and maintaining good working relationships and teamwork
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
