The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent for Bayshore HealthCare’s corporate office. This position works collaboratively with hiring managers at our National Service Centre to ensure the use of innovative and creative strategies to attract talent to our organization.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with hiring managers to ensure a solid understanding of current and future recruitment needs
- Represent and promote Bayshore’s brand and value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner.
- Seek out new recruitment channels and present innovative recruitment ideas and solutions to attract talent and build a talent pipeline.
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process from job posting to onboarding
- Participate in the interview process as required
- Develop and maintain key recruitment and selection metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of Bayshore’s recruitment
- Align with the HR Business Partners on the national diversity, equity, inclusion, and HR strategies in order to integrate this in your sourcing and recruitment strategy
- Conduct reference checks, background checks
- Participate on workforce planning teams and work to anticipate the hiring needs of each department
- Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of recruitment.
- Creating an effective recruitment strategy and pipelines to access top level talent, while delivering timely and effective customer service and support to internal hiring managers.
- Conduct other duties as required

**Work Location** : Mississauga National Office ( Hybrid)

Job Qualification

**Qualifications**
- University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
- CHRL preferred
- 5+ years of recruitment experience preferably with corporate roles

**Experience**
- Experience in hiring Corporate roles within IT / Technical/ Project Management and Finance/Payroll/Legal/HR/Other corporate roles
- Experience in hiring mid to senior level positions ( eg. Senior Managers/Director level )
- Ability to strategically approach recruitment needs of each department
- Previous experience with Applicant Tracking systems (ATS)
- Proficient in sourcing techniques and social media (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
- Knowledge of employment law related to recruitment.
- Effective influencing and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively provide timely communication at all levels of the organization
- Team player, who can collaborate well with others and work independently with little direction or supervision
- Self-directed and solution oriented with a strong work ethic
