**JOB SUMMARY**

The Business Analyst reports to the Manager, Compliance & Business Analytics and is responsible for providing critical analytical support to the business units. The Business Analyst works closely with the operations group leaders to ensure that analytical business case and decision support functions are accurate and completed in a timely manner.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Evaluating data gathered from multiple sources, reconciling requirements, and identifying underlying needs from user requests
- Communicating information effectively and consistently to different types of audiences
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines
- Ability to manipulate and cleanse large data sets and communicate data-driven findings to lay individuals
- Working cross-functionally to provide supports to other members of the finance team as needed (eg. A/R, A/P, etc.)
- Performing other related duties as assigned

**Education**
- Degree in Math, Accounting, Business or Finance
- Diploma/certificate in supply chain management will be an asset

**Work Experience**
- 1-2 years of working experience in related area an asset

**Knowledge and understanding**
- Understanding of business operating, supply chain and financial processes

**Technical Skills**
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Office location -Burlington, Ontario, Canada
- Office hours are generally 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (with some flexibility), Monday to Friday
