Team Lead-sales Operations

The Team Lead - Sales Operations is responsible for providing guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to a group of teammates for the purpose of achieving key results.. Incumbents are responsible for process execution and evaluation, workload leveling, strategic implementation of improved processes and building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate team by setting positive examples through their own actions and remaining positive during busier times and periods of change.
- Mentor teammates by providing guidance and direction.
- Give constructive feedback, encouraging teammates to grow and improve their skills.
- Handle the reporting function in monitoring the quantitative results of the team.
- Drive results - assist Manager in driving the results the team is measured on (e.g., SLAs, technical ability, forecasting, feedback, customer service, efficiency and productivity).
- Assist and support the team with any questions they may have.
- Provide direction on escalations and other issues that may arise.
- Make decisions without guidance when needed.
- Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
- Assure that the team members have the necessary training to effectively participate on the team.
- Ensuring proper client coverage is provided at all times
- Strive to be the eyes and ears of the Manager, but also act as the voice of their team members.
- Provide guidance to the team based on management direction.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or two to three years of related experience.
- Must have a proven track record in handling and resolving escalations.
- Proven mentoring and training abilities needed.
- Success in increasing teammate morale and successfully leading a team a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and proficient in process management in order to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Able to work effectively with all levels of management and clients required.
- Good display of business judgment skills needed.
- Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to work under pressure or time constraints and produce positive results.
- Effective use of PC including Microsoft Office required.
