**Job Title**:Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Assistant with experience.

**Job Status: Part-time Position**

**Reports To**:Pharmacist in Charge, Pharmacy Manager, or Pharmacy Owner.

**Date**: October/November 2022

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Contact prescribers verbally or via fax for clarifications and various functions.
- Process invoices received from the wholesaler and print them to be ready once the order is received.
- Process weekly batching, printing hard copy reports, and new refill authorization.
- Enter new or changed prescriptions in blister packs.
- Collaborate with the pharmacist on duty to provide efficient dispensary and pharmacy services.

**Specific Requirements**:

- Experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician is an option.
- Exceptional and professional customer service to our clients, and members of the care team, ensuring superb service at all times.
- Self-directed with the ability to work both independently and collaborate with the pharmacy team.

**Preferred**:

- Available **weekends hours**.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) in good standing, is **optional**.
- Experienced Pharmacy Assistant with minimum 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy.
- Experience in the billing & third-party adjudication, ideal on Kroll, but **not a must**.
- Some knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is **optional**.
