Bracebridge Animal Hospital is looking for a passionate, self-motivated, hard working and reliable Client Services Representative - Reception, in a full-time position. We are a 2 doctor, AAHA accredited, companion animal hospital that focuses on dogs, cats, pocket pets and some exotics.
Our priority is providing patients and clients with exceptional, quality service; using only the highest caliber of medication and technology. Our clinic has strict COVID protocols in place for the health & safety of our team and clients.

**Job Responsibilities Include**:

- Provide exceptional and expeditious client experience
- Greet clients curbside and incoming calls
- Process incoming and outgoing pets - invoicing and prescriptions
- Answer phone calls, which may involve answering medical questions, screening for service needs and scheduling appointments.
- Document and maintain client information, service data and other pertinent information with business operations software
- Facilitating medical prescriptions
- Assist doctors, technicians and other personnel with the administration of medications and restraining pets for procedures and treatments, and assisting with curbside services
- Ensure all supplies are stocked in pharmacy, treatment and surgery areas
- General cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the clinic (examination rooms/treatment areas/reception/utility areas). Including daily laundry
- Limited reception duties as needed

**Experience and skills**:

- Must be a self-starter, able to multitask and a team player.
- Genuinely enjoys working with people and animals and is able to deal with them even when they are stressed (ill or in pain - animals).
- Prefer 1+ years of experience in Veterinary clinic, but not required.
- Comfortable with dealing with stressful situations and handling in a professional manner
- Ability to comfortably use POS software systems, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Work requires lifting, carrying and restraining boxes/animals (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 30 lbs.). Should be able to lift 30lbs on own.
- Walks or stands for extended periods or time
- Is experienced in the teamwork approach and works well with all levels of hospital team members.
