We’re Sardis Health Foods and we’re looking for a new **Front End Manager** to join our close-knit team and do exactly that.

We’re Chilliwack’s trusted local health food store, helping customers make educated choices for all their natural, health related needs. We provide a huge range of products including natural groceries, vitamins & minerals, supplements and herbal products, beauty and body care products, homeopathics, aromatherapy, and environmentally friendly household cleaners, and more.

**Front End Manager**

As our new **Front End Manager**, your goal is to oversee the day-to-day functions of our store, lead our strong team of employees and ensure the continued smooth operation of the business as we grow.

You’ll lead by example for our junior staff members and you’ll be trusted to run the store with mínimal supervision, while having the full support of the owners when you need it.

**Practically speaking, you will**:

- Prepare the store for opening and for closing (e.g., set up cash registers, check schedules, etc.)
- Advise customers about healthy products and provide recommendations in-person and over the phone
- Manage employees, including onboarding, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
- Take a hands-on approach including running the cash register, organizing displays and merchandise, and handling customer escalations as needed
- Monitor inventory, complete purchase orders, and receive stock
- Take an active interest in our marketing and sales figures and add input to our strategies
- Help us set and track our annual sales goals, write reports, and make recommendations for how to improve these processes

**Working with Sardis Health Food**

This is a full-time permanent position, offering 40 hours per week. We’re looking for someone with open availability who can be flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed. We also cover for each other to make it simple to book vacations.

You’ll receive a competitive compensation package, ranging from $45,000-$55,000 per year, with bonus incentives for meeting goals, and a benefits package. We also have various staff discounts and health and wellness perks; we want you to live a healthy, full life - both inside and outside of work

**Qualifications**
- Experience in a supervisory, managerial or similar role
- Experience in a customer-facing role, resolving customer issues, preferably in a retail environment
- Nutritional consultant designation
- Experience meeting sales targets and other goals
- Any knowledge of or experience in the health food/nutrition industry is an asset
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or similar is an asset
