Located in Orangeville and under the general direction of the Campus Government and Employment Programs Manager, the incumbent oversees the day-to-day implementation and operation of programs. Responsibilities include supporting the administration of the contracts and agreements delivered by the Employment Ontario team. The incumbent is responsible for tracking delivery costs and preparing reports that are required by the program funders. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- Managing the activity including the staffing, operational, and financial aspects of the program
- Creating timelines and setting targets for various project components, ensuring compliance with the agreement and reporting requirements with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
- Coordinating delivery details (including establishing service delivery processes, locations, materials, and participant criteria)
- Establishing and updating participant flow and tracking systems, including formalized referral pathways and processes with community members
- Coordinating college services that provide itinerant or permanent on-site services
- Providing leadership to any co-location agreements with other service providers
- Evaluating project success and recommending change as necessary
- Providing narrative, financial and statistical reports
- Assisting with research and preparation of proposals for complementary projects
- Coordinating the delivery of the service and projects to ensure a well-organized and effective client experience
- Representing Georgian College on committees, working groups and/or networks in the community
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with funders, employers and community partners and stakeholders
- Providing first point of contact for case conferencing and concerns regarding program delivery and logistics
- Ensuring accountability to funders including completing various reports
- Chairing regular staff meetings to discuss and monitor progress of the programs and services against funder targets, milestones, and objectives
- Scheduling of staff and day-to-day allocation of tasks
- Assigning work to staff for special projects, including reports and marketing/outreach in the community
- Acting as back up for the Manager for both Orangeville Campus and South Georgian Bay Campus, including other sites in department
- Travelling to and attending the John Di Poce South Georgian Bay Campus once or twice a month

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Successfully completed a two-year postsecondary diploma in a relevant field of study
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a staff management/leadership role with a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated working knowledge of funded career and employment services and an outcomes-based delivery model
- Experience working with individuals with employment and/or educational needs
- Excellent administration skills, including budgeting and report-writing skills
- Experience and familiarity with the labour market in Dufferin County and the surrounding area including employers, service providers, and networks/associations
- Proven advanced level computer skills (MS Office Suite)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and conflict management skills
- Demonstrated marketing and promotion skills
