As part of Versatile’s commitment to developing equipment for the future, the company is looking for a Product Manager for the company’s tillage product line. As a Product Manager, you will act as the interface between the farmer, service and engineering to prioritize and implement improvements that will most benefit the customer in the field. To accomplish this, you will play a key role in defining the customer needs when it comes to current and future tillage products developed by Versatile, and then work directly with the engineering team to help implement those required features.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Participate in a collaborative team environment with multidisciplinary team members
- Travel with territory sales staff, and attend various trade shows, in order to gather product feedback directly from customers and dealers
- Research competitor’s products and market position in order to better understand features and pricing requirements
- Develop and maintain product requirements documentation so that engineering is clear on the goals of any product development project
- Create and maintain business cases for new products and upgrades that you wish to develop for the product line
- Act as the voice of customer/dealer during engineering design reviews
- Support aftersales staff by assisting in the development of training and troubleshooting documentation
- Perform product training online, in-person or in writing for customers, dealers, and internal Versatile staff

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with customers and dealers in an agricultural environment
- Experience with agricultural tillage and/or seeding tools
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Sales, marketing or customer support experience
- Capable of managing multiple ongoing projects
- Ability to work both independently and as an effective member of a project team
- A valid driver’s license and passport

**Assets**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field
- Project management experience
- Customer support experience
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Mechanically inclined

**Working Conditions**:

- ** **40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, extra time as required for completing your duties.
- 25% travel within Canada, US and occasionally overseas is required
- Communicating with customers and dealers on a regular basis
