Cloverdale Paint has an immediate opening for a full-time **Corporate Inventories Manager** at our Head Office in **Surrey, BC**. This individual will be responsible for monitoring and assisting in managing product inventories throughout the company.

This is an exclusively work in-office position, though may involve some periodic travel to Cloverdale Paint locations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Corporate Inventories Manager will be responsible for providing ongoing guidance and assistance regarding inventory management to store, production and distribution staff.

Inventory
- Review inventory activities of branches and warehouses to ensure inventories are accurately maintained.
- Ensure that branches and warehouses are meeting corporate inventory standards and maintaining perpetual inventory.
- Arrange and manage the taking and input of annual inventory counts.
- Review all branch perpetual inventories on a monthly basis and report any discrepancies to Accounting department.
- Work with inventory systems users and trainers to ensure users have sufficient knowledge to use corporate systems effectively and accurately.

Analysis
- Monitor all company inventories and report slow moving and other inefficient inventory assets, to effectively employ and redeploy corporate inventories.
- Work with responsible parties to ensure corporate inventory systems accurately reflect actual physical balances and are financially accurate. Facilitate the accurate management and custody of corporate assets.
- Provide regular inventory reporting and perform special request reporting as required.
- Work within Microsoft, Canvas and ERP to generate reporting and undertake analysis.

Store Assistance
- Provide guidance on perpetual inventory setup and management best practices.
- Provide inventory systems training and preparation for annual and cycle inventories as required.
- Ensure that all stores are prepared for annual inventory counts.
- Assist with slow moving inventory identification, movement, and liquidation.
- Draw on the assistance of other identified individuals from stores or sales departments to assist in the movement and/or sale/liquidation of stocks.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A minimum six years of inventory experience, that includes at least three years of experience leading inventory initiatives.
- Post-secondary studies in finance, business, business administration, or accounting preferred.
- Proficient in Office 365 programs (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse and order management systems and technology.
- Detail‐oriented; ability to work with numbers quickly and accurately.
- Systematic in solving problems and implementing solutions.
- Solid understanding of business management, supply chain management, and project management.
- Proficient in making accurate forecasts to meet manufacturing and development demands.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry practices & current trends.
- Ability to create high level strategic and tactical operational plans.
- Ability to participate in cross-functional initiatives & projects.

**Salary**: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
