Inventory Control Specialist

- Maintaining accuracy of the overall inventory
- Evaluating and managing inventory procedures
- Using data to identify efficiency opportunities
- Assist in preparation and execution of inventory counts
- Training teammates in stocking/picking procedures
- Communicating any inventory issues and working to identify root causes
- Work with shipping/receiving teammates if products are missing
- Maintaining and developing effective warranty and return procedures
- Any additional duties related to inventory management and process improvements as requested
**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
- A minimum of 5 years warehouse experience
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge
- Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and any other material handling equipment
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders
- Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Intermediate math skills
