**JOB SUMMARY**:
**RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Group and Event booking tasks to include: Assist in qualifying group and catering leads and assigning to the deployed sales manager; preparation of contracts; reports; managing room block inventory; reports; informing clients of important deadlines; BEO’s
- Support sales and catering strategies by extraction of prospect lists from various database
- Check occupied space on a daily basis and meet with group conveners at least once during their events.
- Actively solicit and book business following hotel and brand standards
- Monitor and respond to inquiries and RFPs within 1 business day
- Participate in regular sales and catering strategy sessions by providing input, taking minutes, updating and distributing action plans.
- Create group and transient booking links.
- Communicate to all stake holders and organize any special arrangements per client’s request
- Ensure client files are kept organized and current with all required information
- Proactively sell and upsell which meet the client’s needs and maximize revenues
- Detail function requirement accurately on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) ensuring the client signs off on the functions
- Review estimated guarantees and ensure that firm guarantees are obtained 7 business days prior to the function
- Conduct hotel tours and service clients within the company and property policies.
- Support Director of Sales & Marketing and Sales Managers in obtaining contract confirmation / signatures / methods of payment and issue status reports to appropriate departments when required.
- Ensure that current and prospective databases and client files are maintained, current and accessible.
- Monitor and track changes to BEOs to ensure that accurate information is communicated to all stake holders on a timely basis
- Review sales revenues from previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounting. Track actuals against budget
- Contact client after scheduled functions to ensure satisfaction and to solicit rebooking
- Ensure that all sales and catering contracts are communicated to all stake holders within 4 hours of receipt of signed agreement.
- Actively cross sell the Atlific Hotels portfolio

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 years of sales/ and or catering experience in hospitality industry
- Post-secondary education in sales and/or business administration
- Superior time management/priority management; organization; proactive planning
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook. Delphi experience an asset.
- Highly energetic, detailed oriented, organized and well-developed sales skills including negotiation, prospecting, and verbal & written communication skills
- Commitment to superior customer service
- Multitasker and works well under pressure

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
