- You’ll be involved in the full life cycle of projects including preparing proposals and work plans, coordinating and executing projects, managing budgets, client support and communication, data analysis and reviews, and reporting. Your role will be predominantly office based with opportunities to complete fieldwork according to your personal interest, to mentor junior staff, and support the requirements of certain projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Project management, logístical coordination, and supervision of junior and intermediate staff.
- Liaise with clients and regulatory agencies, as directed by supervisor
- Active participation in business development opportunities, such as proposals to build SLR’s
client base and revenue stream as appropriate
- Fieldwork, data compilation, and reporting associated with environmental site assessment and
remediation projects
- Provision of technical leadership through mentoring of staff during project delivery and for other aspects such as Health and Safety, training, team building and other as required
- Assisting other technical discipline in field work and/or reporting as required (e.g. ecology, engineering)
- Maintaining effective, open and honest communications with co-workers, supervisors, and work related
contacts

**Qualifications/Education/Memberships**:

- 5+ years of experience in a similar consulting role in the environmental services industry
- Broad knowledge of environmental site assessment and/or risk assessment and/or hydrogeology and/or site remediation
- Working knowledge of provincial, local, and industry specific regulations and guidelines
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in engineering or geosciences preferred
- Professional status or eligibility for professional status with a professional organization (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., E.I.T., G.I.T., A.Sc.T preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required for travel to job sites/clients-
