Role Overview
The Project Coordinator will provide scheduling and administrative support to the project team(s) in order to ensure project deliverables are met. Work with the management and project team to ensure the effective delivery of the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.
The Project Coordinator job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
**Technical**:
- Recognize problems, initiate action, assist in problem solving and evaluate results on major issue prior to releasing drawings to manufacturing
- Works alongside PM's as technical expert for their department, providing support in customer communications and needs
- Perform risk assessments and support the job hazard analysis process and actively participate in and support HSE programs and initiatives.
- Review and approve all project designs and that the designs meet the Eclipse high standards of quality, reliability and safety
- Develop and coordinate project designs within the electrical engineering team
- Schedules resources for their portion of a project under the guidance of a Supervisor or Manager
- Ensure concepts meet Eclipse Automation quality, safety and reliability standards
**Project Execution**:
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
- Ensure scheduled milestones are met.
- Notify the appropriate departments if milestones are not met.
- Adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy
- Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code
- Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business.
**Qualifications**:Education**:
- Has successfully completed a University Degree or College Diploma
- Education in Business Administration or Project Management is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS office-based software.
- Primavera scheduling experience is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD would also be an asset.
**Experience**:
- Project administration experience in a technical environment
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external clients.
- Knowledge of engineering terminology and document types and structures would be an asset.
- Scheduling knowledge also considered an asset.
