Tag Implementation Specialist

sMedia is North America's leading digital technology company for automotive dealerships. We empower dealerships to adapt and thrive during the current digital transformation wave. sMedia is currently looking for an experienced Tag Implementation Specialist to join our growing team. As a Tag Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing accounts and containers within the Google Tag Manager (GTM) platform, implementing digital advertising tags, and providing support to ad operations, implementations, and customer-facing teams.

Reports to: CRO

Your Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Collaborate with implementation and customer teams to ensure effective tracking and analysis for digital marketing purposes
- Implementing digital advertising and event tracking tags within GTM, including QA & troubleshooting
- Creating and setting up variables leveraging on the data layer in GTM
- Being an expert in Google Analytics and providing analysis support as well as recommendations on improvements as Google continues to update this platform.
- Managing and addressing teams' questions related to tag/tracking challenges

Your Background
- This role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics
- 2+ years of experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, React)
- Experience with Google Analytics 4
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work

**Website Tagging Implementation Specialist - Preferred Skills**
- Experience with Google advertising platforms
- Familiarity with the Facebook Advertising Platform (FB Business Manager) & Conversions API
- Familiarity with TikTok Advertising Platform
- Experience with Microsoft UET
