Data Integration Specialist

The Information Technology Division of BQ International Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the movement and integration of data across various sources into an organized and unified view.
Key Responsibilities:- Integration Project Management: Orchestrate integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units, data stewards, and development teams.
- Data Integration Planning: Plan, execute, and manage the strategic integration of new data and data stores into existing systems and infrastructure throughout the enterprise.
- System Integration: Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Integration Planning and Practices: Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the company's overall strategic vision.
- Standards and Processes: Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
- Best Practices: Identify common patterns and document best practices for integration.
- Data Quality: Maintain high standards of data quality through the introduction and enforcement of information handling processes and organization of the DI processes.
- Technology Development: Design, develop, and deploy solutions within the organization's architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
- Business Process Improvement: Ensure the collection and coherent interpretation of the various business processes affected by integration efforts.
- Problem Resolution: Assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.
- Audit and Monitoring: Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions to provide proactive operational support in the DI environment.
- Spring Boot Framework/SpringMVC
- Working with multiple file formats such as XML, CSV
- Web Services
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration and a proven track record of successfully implementing integration solutions. Familiarity with the Government of Saskatchewan technical and business landscape is considered an asset.
