**Job Description**:
AECOM North Bay is looking for a Senior Environmental Planner.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Coordinating environmental assessment processes for transportation projects;
- Managing environmental specialists (on staff or sub-consultant) contributing to projects;
- Researching (literature and field work) and preparing environmental reports;
- Preparing for and participating in Public Information Centres;
- Meeting with clients and support preparation of a variety of deliverables for clients;
- Preparing proposals;
- Organizing project schedules, budgets and files;
- Undertaking mapping / GIS work; and
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline: sciences, planning, etc. 4+ years of experience in environmental planning for transportation projects OR Diploma + 6 years experience in environmental planning for transportation projects

Preferred Qualifications:

- 8+ years of professional experience in environmental planning for transportation projects
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- Experience in a professional consulting or municipal planning environment
- Strong verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Appreciation and/or knowledge of one or more of the following items are desirable: Provincial Environmental Assessment Act and Regulations made under that Act.
