**Job Description**:
AECOM North Bay is looking for a Senior Environmental Planner.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
+ Coordinating environmental assessment processes for transportation projects;
+ Managing environmental specialists (on staff or sub-consultant) contributing to projects;
+ Researching (literature and field work) and preparing environmental reports;
+ Preparing for and participating in Public Information Centres;
+ Meeting with clients and support preparation of a variety of deliverables for clients;
+ Preparing proposals;
+ Organizing project schedules, budgets and files;
+ Undertaking mapping / GIS work; and

+ Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
**+ Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline**: sciences, planning, etc. 4+ years of experience in environmental planning for transportation projects OR Diploma + 6 years experience in environmental planning for transportation projects

**Preferred Qualifications**:
+ 8+ years of professional experience in environmental planning for transportation projects

+ Strong technical and analytical skills

+ Strong technical writing and presentation skills

+ Experience in a professional consulting or municipal planning environment

+ Strong verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills

+ Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

+ Appreciation and/or knowledge of one or more of the following items are desirable: Provincial Environmental Assessment Act and Regulations made under that Act.
