A young man is seeking staff purposely to support him through his weekly schedule out of his home. He is in the process of designing his summer goals that he would like support to achieve these goals. Some of his summer goals include going on out of town day trips, attending concerts, and food festivals. He is looking for new ways to stay active through his weekly routine and is open to new ideas He is an avid chef who enjoys swimming, walking, music, and traveling. He is eager to try new activities and events to promote a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
- DSW, ECE, SSW, CYW students or graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Mileage reimbursement($0.50/KM).
- A valid driver's license.
- $25.00/hr.
- A reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance.
- Must be consistent when following routine.
- Must have a sense of humor, and support an active/healthy lifestyle.
- Must be aware of situations that may be over-stimulating, and offer coping strategies based on his One Page Profile, and Person-Directed Plan information.
- Weekly shifts will usually range from 3-4 hours. It is expected to be able to accommodate the schedule for out-of-town day trips-where the shift could be 12 hours. There are 4 out-of-town trips budgeted for the summer months.
- Some weekends are expected to work based on planned events.
- It is expected that the staff person will allocate time at the beginning of each month to identify the out-of-town trips, and any changes in staffing hours that are needed to accommodate the monthly plans.
- Hours will decrease as of September 2024.

Please provide three references, valid First Aid/CPR certification and a Criminal Record Check.

**Hours**:
Monday-5-8PM

Wednesday
- 3-4 hours.

Friday 3-4 hours.

Occassional weekends based on events planned ahead, such as Blue Jays games in Toronto, or Food festivals in London or surrounding areas etc.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal, Freelance
Contract length: 17 weeks

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
