We’re looking for a Kitchen Team Leader to join our Healthy Planet family We provide our employees with a rewarding yet challenging environment where you can grow professionally. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Kitchen, preparing & serving food items, packaging & labeling products, delivering exceptional customer service, cashing out customers and assisting with minor productions

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure operational records such opening and closing procedures, fridge temperatures,
- productions records, dishwasher logs are completed.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned and kept on working conditions.
- Ensure par stocks (food preparation, packaging, consumable) are kept at appropriate levels for service.
- Ensure necessary inventory is ordered, and product is rotated accordingly to best before dates.
- Oversee, train and execute preparation of recipes in accordance with company standards.
- Provide food service to all guest, answering questions and accommodating special requests (if possible).
- Motivate and keep kitchen team engage to provide high quality customer service.
- Ensure all deliveries are received and put away accordingly and in a timely fashion.
- Keep open communication with Store manager, informing them of any incidents that might
- arise.
- Set up prep list for day’s production and inputting of production numbers in Kitchen File (Google drive)
- Ensure all staff adhere to health & safety food regulations.
- Ensure all food waste and food demo are recorded and remove from inventory.
- Performed other duties as assigned.

**Must-Haves**:

- Previous Kitchen Management & Team Management experience
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
- Experience with kitchen equipment (knives, ovens, stoves, etc.)
- Familiar with sanitation and health and safety food regulations including proper handling of equipment
- Proficient budgeting skills and understanding
- Work well under pressure independently
- Proven leadership abilities
- Strong communication skills - oral and written
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Flexible schedule
