**JOIN OUR TEAM**

We are looking for a motivated IELTS Assistant (Exam Officer) to join our Employment, Language and Social Enterprise team

**POSITION FUNCTION**:

- This position is responsible for ensuring that all IELTS operations follow IELTS/ British Council protocols and that appropriate IELTS testing procedures are followed.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma or higher
- Good verbal and written communication skills, effective organizational abilities, sound judgement and initiative, able to multitask.
- Experience in utilizing innovative ways to engage potential clients with strong interpersonal and customer service skills, especially with diverse populations
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the needs of immigrants.
- Attitudes and values in keeping with the goals and philosophies of MOSAIC and IELTS.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized and ability to work and stay calm under tight timeline pressure environment.
- Previous experience as a Test Day Supervisor for IELTS or similar standardized tests preferred

**DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines set forth by the British Council and MOSAIC
- Ensure that all exam materials are securely stored and accounted for
- Ensure that test takers are properly registered and that all required documentation is completed
- Maintain accurate records of exam results and ensure that they are reported to the appropriate parties
- Liaise with other departments, organizations and individuals involved in the exam process
- Ensure that all test materials are issued and collected to the appropriate location as per British Council standards

**HOURS**:
Full Time (35 hours per week); Weekends, Weekdays, and evenings

**STARTING PAY**:
$ 24.05 - $ 24.20 per hour

**BENEFITS**:

- A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week_.
