**SUMMARY**:
This is an afternoon shift position (Monday to Friday from 2:00pm to 11:30pm)

This position is responsible for packaging batches as per customer orders. The employee works in tandem with the Production Supervisor and ensures customer orders are prepared and placed at the dock for shipping.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Filling daily orders
- Order picking as per bills of lading
- Weighing essential oils and oleoresin as per order
- Packing daily and reporting yields of batches
- Label for stock items
- Put away stock from packaging and enter into database
- Printing of labels for orders and wrap skids
- Removal of garbage and maintain a clean work area

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to efficiently coordinate with co-workers, take direction from immediate supervisor and work well as member of a team.
- Skilled in prioritizing workload and performing well in a fast-paced environment.
- First Aid certified an asset.
- Excellent ability to follow safety and official procedures.
- Working knowledge of food safety and HACCP an asset

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Required:

- High school diploma/ GED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a food processing environment is essential.
- Forklift certified.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:
Job will generally be performed in the manufacturing plant. When on the plant floor it is representative of a large, busy manufacturing operation. Noisy, active, objects on the floor, constant movement, and traffic flow of motorized equipment. Hair net, beard net, assigned work uniform, protective eyewear and gloves are among the GMP required apparel that must be worn, if indicated, on the plant floor.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
Ability to wear PPE, including but not limited to respirators. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Must be able to operate forklifts and other equipment to the job functions. Must be able to see and distinguish differences between labels.
