**Job Description**:
Our corporate Estimating & Pricing team is looking for an Intermediate level Pricing & Costing analyst to join our team. Success in this role is having initiative, strong analytical skills, willingness to learn and being adaptable. The department works in tandem with a multitude of internal stakeholders, from Business Development, Program Managers, Engineering, Commercial Services and Finance and Manufacturing. This opportunity provides you a broad view into how we run our business areas and how to develop an estimate that will meet the Price to Win Target.

The day to day will include preparing, evaluating, presenting and justifying cost estimates for programs, established products and services. You will also:

- Review RFP details and Co-ordinate basis of estimates from various stakeholders such as Engineering, Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Review estimates to ensure compliance
- Review Major subcontract quotes to ensure non technical compliance. (warranty, spares, etc.)
- Create BOM’s for costing. Evaluate and submit for new quotes as required.
- Review program schedule to ensure proper costing for period of performance. (Labour rates, burdens, exchange, etc. )
- Review mfg to ensure best value is being proposed. (i.e. batching)
- Create & Present rollups at Cost Review
- Identify concerns; Schedule issues, material lead times, labor estimate concerns, man loading
- Summarize risks from BOE’s
- Have previous costing/pricing information for comparison/discussion.
- Document cost review changes affecting cost
- Revise rollup as required and schedule additional reviews. Repeat as necessary.
- Involved in pricing discussions
- Prepare Slide Deck for Management review
- Financial basis, bid assumptions, price breakdown, man loading & spend profile.
- Prepare bid approval and ensure DOA is followed.
- Prepare/support the generation of the financial volume
- Pricing forms as requested by the customer.
- Prepare spend plans, payment plans,termination plans.
- Prepare Certificates of Current Cost and Pricing Data.
- Prepare Profit Calculations

Basic Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent qualification/experience
- Pricing/Costing knowledge is an asset
- Excellent Excel Skills - Pivot Tables
- Knowledge of Contract Cost Principles 1031-2 as per the Canadian Standard Acquisition Clauses and Conditions (SACC) Manual
Contracts/Manufacturing/Finance background is an asset
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
