**What can you expect in this role?**
- Providing support for various securities filings under the guidance of the AVP Legal, Corporate Finance and Securities
- Coordinating board, committee and shareholder meetings and materials
- Administration and maintenance of minute books, licensing processes and files, and corporate records
- Interacting with provincial securities regulators and federal financial institution regulators
- Preparing SEDAR, SEDI and stock exchange filings
- Drafting a variety of corporate documents, including corporate minutes, resolutions, notices, etc.
- Assisting with preparation of corporate and commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements and routine contracts, as well as the completion of corporate transactions
**What do you bring to the role?**
- Ability to communicate professionally in both verbal and written exchanges with external and internal clients at all levels regarding needs and requests
- Previous experience with SEDI and SEDAR filings preferable
- Minimum 1-3 years experience as a corporate law clerk within a Canadian financial institution, law firm or public company
- Propensity to maintain a composed, positive and confident attitude while working in a fast-paced environment, with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work on confidential matters professionally with discretion
- Ability to manage timelines, adhere to schedules and manage processes
- A keen attention to detail
- Expert knowledge of preparation of corporate minutes and maintenance of minute books
