The Construction Coordinator is required to perform an array of duties related to the support of Wireline Construction Managers and Project Managers along with the administrative duties associated with project execution. The duties can include administration of project documents, assisting the Project Manager or Construction Manager with coordination and planning project activities, coordinating requests, etc. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of the organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the core values and supports our strategic plan.

Job Duties
- Assist in administrative and operational duties related to Wireline project startup, scheduling, planning, coordination, and close-out.
- Work with the Project and Construction Manager in the preparation of costing and proposal documents.
- Coordinate project billing and invoicing and maintain Cash Flow Schedule with the financial project coordinator.
- Assist in logging all planned submissions, design documents, etc.
- Review project scheduling, contract drawings, and site specifications/logistics.
- Work with Sub-contractors to ensure awareness of project expectations, requirements, budget, scope, etc. Maintaining regular communication and quick answers to questions.
- Negotiate and resolve any concerns with Sub-contractor quotations, work, scheduling, etc.
- Assist Project Manager and Safety Department in collection and overseeing of safety documentation for WesTower employees and sub-contractors, ensuring all team members have required training.
- Review baseline schedule and work to maintain and update the project schedule accordingly.
- Assist Manager’s and Foremen with creating recovery and mitigation plans.
- Develop schedule for submissions, delivery, installation, and inspection, ensuring coordination with project schedule.
- Identify potential project conflicts and discrepancies and proactively work towards a resolution.
- Ensure proper communication is maintained throughout the project team.
- Participate in project close-out duties.
**Requirements**:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an administrative role (preferred).
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in wireline construction industry (preferred).
- Ability to set priorities and manage work demands.
- Ability to plan (strategic and short-term) and organize effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work effectively alone and in a team.
- Ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations.
- Demonstrates competence in communication, professionalism, organizational and analytical skills, technical skills and knowledge in the performance of duties and responsibilities.

Work Conditions
- A mix of office and on-site visits as required.
