The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is looking for an Project Coordinator in the Northern Green Mountains (Estrie) to join a team committed to protecting our most important natural areas and the plants and animals they sustain.

**Why do we need you at NCC?**

Under the responsibility of the project manager, the coordinator will contribute to maintaining the ecological integrity of NCC’s protected properties in the northern green mountains natural area (Estrie). You will thus be responsible for the ecological inventory of new sites of interest, the annual monitoring of protected properties and the implementation of management and restoration activities. You will play a proactive role by leveraging your knowledge of ecosystems and your ability to interact with the public.

**What will be your main TASKS?**
- Document species at risk, invasive exotic species and human use on protected private lands or on prospect properties.
- Organize activities to clean up waste, control invasive exotic species, restore and manage natural environments.
- Write funding proposals, progress reports and authorization requests to develop your own activities.
- Raise awareness among private owners about the adoption of good practices in forestry, agricultural, riparian and wetland environments through in-person meetings, field visits, personalized documentation and public presentations.
- Participate in the management of students, volunteers, agents and consultants such as notary, surveyor, evaluator, biologist, translator, graphic designer.
- Represent CNC in external relations and with the public in order to inspire communities to get involved voluntarily in their sector.

**SKILLS you have mastered**
- Experience in biology, conservation or environment-related fields.
- Excellent French and English, both spoken and written.
- Identification of invasive and at-risk wildlife or flora species.
- Knowledge of GIS tools and orientation skills on the field.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and to adapt to unforeseen events.
- Organizational skills, ability to identify and manage priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
