**Job description**

**ROLE: Instructor, Early Childhood Assistant (ECA)**

**The schedule will be a mix of morning/daytime/evenings classes to reach full-time hours.**

**Qualifications**:

- **Must have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)**:

- **Must have strong Punjabi and English speaking skills**:

- **Must live close to the Brampton campus for in-person classes**:

- **Must have a minimum of five (5) years of current, relevant work experience as an Early Childhood Educator in a Canadian clinical environment**:

- **Must hold a current membership in the Provincial Association for Early Childhood Educators.**:

- **Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.**:

- **Must have a flexible schedule and be able to teach a combination of mornings, evenings and weekends.**

**Asset**:

- **One (1) year adult teaching experience.**:

- **Familiar with the NACC - ECA Curriculum**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Responsible for the active and ethical delivery of the curriculum to students.**:

- **Participate in staff meetings when required.**:

- **Modify curriculum expectations to meet the students needs.**:

- **Monitor students progress.**:

- **Mark assignments, presentations and tests.**:

- **Will assist with tracking progress and tutoring as required**:

- **Assisting with finding placements**:

- **On-boarding and sending communication**:

- **Other related tasks as required**

- School Classroom - Brampton Campus**
