**Job description**

**ROLE: Instructor, Early Childhood Assistant (ECA)**

**Our College is looking for 2 Early Childhood Assistant instructors to support students in their healthcare career choice. This position is in person teaching for our Brampton campus location.**

**In person classes will not be beginning until September 2023, but various hours of classroom set up may be required before the September start date.**

**Qualifications**:

- **Must have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)**:

- **Must have a minimum of five (5) years current, relevant work experience as an Early Childhood Educator in a Canadian clinical environment**:

- **Must hold a current membership in the provincial association for Early Childhood Educators.**:

- **Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.**:

- **Must have a flexible schedule and be able to teach a combination of mornings, evenings and weekends. More information about schedule will be released in advance with enrollment.**

**Asset**:

- **One (1) year adult teaching experience.**:

- **Familiar with the NACC - ECA Curriculum**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Responsible for the active and ethical delivery of the curriculum to students.**:

- **Participate in staff meetings when required.**:

- **Modify curriculum expectations to meet the students needs.**:

- **Monitor students progress.**:

- **Mark assignments, presentations and tests.**:
