Reporting to the Audit Committee, the Internal Auditor will provide independent assurance that our regulatory compliance, risk management, governance, and internal control processes are operating effectively.

Responsibilities: *
- Develop Internal Audit plan that provides an appropriate balance of coverage of key risks/regulatory compliance in addition to coverage of core processes and strategic objectives. Audit plan will include operational, regulatory compliance, and financial audits.
- Build strong relationships with senior management and ensure broader management team is aware of Internal Audit activity, status of audits, management remediation actions etc.
- Assess internal controls, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Complete audits in a timely manner, to a high quality and in accordance with Internal Audit plan.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized audit work papers that appropriately document the testing performed.
- Assess audit results and develop meaningful recommendations for improvement which can be effectively implemented by management given the existing business, control risks, and other cost/benefit considerations.
- Prepare audit reports that reflect audit results and remediation plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 4-6 years of audit experience in professional services and/or specific relevant internal audit industry experience required.
- Ideally hold an Internal Audit qualification, or be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Internal Audit requirements and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter, flexible, resilience to challenge/be challenged.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Deadline driven and capable of working independently.
- Knowledge or background in iGaming industry is an asset.
