- KBD Insurance is looking to hire motivated university students or individuals to play a key role in driving leads to our growing sales team. As a Telemarketer at KBD Insurance you will contribute to the development of the company by asking clients to provide their insurance expiry dates and persuading prospects to then complete a quote with our certified brokers._

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Call potential clients in the Ottawa and Ontario area, asking them for their insurance expiration dates from our computerized directory;
- Execute the script provided with common sense adjustments to ensure consistency in the prospecting strategy;
- Follow up with clients who provide their expiration dates;
- Follow up with clients who submit quotes online through our website or through Google Ads;
- Transfer interested clients to licensed insurance brokers for insurance quotes;
- Maintain accurate record of actions taken in the numbering system or tracking sheet;
- Maintain computer and equipment, report changes or maintenance needed;
- Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to the supervisor;
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing results related to the need;
- Perform any other work-related duties as required;

**Qualifications**:

- Outgoing personality, comfortable in a customer service role
- Excellent telephone manner and good articulation
- Bilingual, however most of the clients you will be speaking with are English
- Punctuality and perseverance
- Secondary school
