Community Living Campbellford/Brighton (CLC/B) is a non-profit organization that provides support and services to people with an intellectual disability that promotes opportunities for personal growth within their community. We are a Nationally Accredited organization and have maintained our Accreditation standing since 2000 in each of our quality reviews facilitated by the CQL Canada.

**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all supports to people are respectful of their dignity, rights and well-being at all times
- Complete and post schedules for all locations and supports
- Fill shifts as required and as per our Collective Agreement processes
- Coordinate backfill for time off requests, leaves of absence, Public Holidays, etc.,
- Trouble shoot scheduling issues and barriers and provide solutions for a resolve
- Identify trends and absenteeism issues and report to Supervisors
- Evaluate and monitor on-going staffing requirements to coordinate employee scheduling
- Ensure the effective orientation and mentoring of new employees
- Provide ongoing communication, support and resources for employees on site
- Provide day to day support to employees (evening and weekend hours will be required)
- Assist the Supervisor in holding employees accountable to the expected standard of service & support delivery
- Problem solve to effectively handle issues and conflict
- Provide input/performance observations for consideration in employee performance appraisals
- Assist with coordinating team meetings and staff development opportunities
- Ensure completion of all necessary administrative and service delivery documentation as required by M.C.S.S and the Organization’s Policies and Procedures
- Assist in Ministry Compliance reviews and ensure program compliance
- Assist with the coordination of staffing budgets
- Liaise with families and other service providers
- Actively contribute as a member of the CLC/B Management Team
- Ensure an orderly and safe working environment
- Work with both internal and external committees as required
- Participate in emergency On Call rotation as assigned
- Identify and advocate for change when barriers to quality service delivery are identified
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
- A minimum of 3-5 years of coordinating support and services within the Developmental Services Sector, preferably in a Supported Living and or Community/Family support role
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating multiple employees
- Demonstrated experience in project management and managing budgets
- Strong communication abilities both written and oral
- Strong facilitation/training/presentation skills to groups small and large
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with information technology, including Kronos, Office 365 and AIMS
- Able to maintain a professional attitude; ability to handle stressful situations
- Demonstrated experience conveying a helpful, supportive, positive and confident attitude
- Able to maintain confidentiality and conduct work within appropriate privacy standards
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, forward thinking and team spirit
- Able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license, Driver’s Abstract and reliable vehicle for the purpose of work
- Must have valid First Aid/CPR and NVCI Certification
