Warehouse Associate

**Job purpose**:
**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:
- Timely and accurately fulfilling orders received from the Warehouse Manager
- Timely and accurately picking items/products from bill of ladings
- Physically receive all deliveries to TCF
- Operate a walk behind power jack
- Load trucks and fulfill orders for delivery as required
- Ensure foods safety is not compromised while loading, unloading and storing product
- Maintain organization of product in the storage freezer
- Adhere to timing schedules set up by Warehouse Manager
- Review and retain knowledge of inventory changes of product
- Supply the production line with product of various sizes and weights
- Use scan guns to track and monitor movement of all product around the warehouse and production areas
- Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
- Multi-task and be proactive in efficiently completing work
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
- Learn and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Adheres to all company policies.
- Inform Management and or Maintenance if there are any issues with equipment or product.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 kg and occasionally lift and/or move more than 30 kg
- Ability to work in a cold environment (-18OC)
- Be able to effectively work in a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and is accountable for his/her actions
- Demonstrate the following traits: respect, honesty, personable
- Excellent attendance record
- Own transportation
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

**Education**:
