**Job Overview**: Asbestos Abatement/Demolition Site Supervisors play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient removal of asbestos and other building materials from various sites. They oversee all aspects of asbestos abatement and clean demolition projects, from initial planning to execution and monitoring. This role demands a deep understanding of asbestos regulations, safety protocols, and effective management skills to ensure compliance and minimize risks associated with asbestos exposure.

**Working Conditions**: Asbestos Abatement/Demolition Site Supervisors primarily work at construction sites, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings where asbestos removal is required. They may encounter hazardous materials and must strictly adhere to safety protocols to mitigate risks. This role may involve travel to various job sites and require occasional on-call availability, evening shifts, or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
- Supervise and assist in the construction of suitable containment enclosures around asbestos-containing materials.
- Safely remove and dispose of asbestos using specialized equipment.
- Ensure that site crews wear appropriate protective equipment, including coveralls, full-face masks, and CSA-approved steel-toed boots.
- Perform tasks on industrial sites, in shops, offices, and residential properties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project execution and compliance with safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Asbestos certification
- Fall Arrest certification
- Aerial Platform certification
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots
- Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and face protection
- Willingness to work on-call, outside the city for extended periods, and various shifts, including nights

**Salary**: Competitive, commensurate with experience

**Hours of Work**: 40 hours per week (schedule may vary depending on the project)

**Work Location**: Varied, depending on project requirements
