Asbestos Abatement Worker

Responsibilities:

- Perform abatement activities in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove, repair, or restore materials containing hazardous substances
- Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials
- Follow proper containment and decontamination procedures
- Clean work areas and ensure proper disposal of waste materials

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in abatement or related field preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of abatement techniques and procedures
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
- Willingness to comply with safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
