**Available Job Opportunity**:Internal Auditor

**Location**:Vaughan, Ontario

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the Internal Auditor (IA) is responsible for supporting the IA

Department in execution of internal audits in selected business units, as well as preparing post audit reports and performing follow-ups on audit observations and management actions. Additionally, the role serves as an internal consultancy function on an ad-hoc basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participation in internal audits of the Company functions, processes, and control activities to ensure reliability and integrity of information, compliance with policies and procedures, and achievement of operational goals and objectives.
- Preparing post audit reports and supporting IA Manager in ensuring that all audit findings and recommendations are practical and sustainable.
- Supporting the IA Manager in promoting the role and objectives of the IA Department at all levels of the organization.
- Performing follow-ups on audit observations and management actions.
- Maintaining monitor of audit recommendations implementation status.
- Completing special projects and ad-hoc requests.
- Supporting the IA Manager in Department administration (budgeting, scheduling, etc.)
- Supporting the IA Manager in preparing recommendations for Audit plan for next year.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Required/Related Work Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of related experience (External and Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Controlling,

Finance etc )
- Mining industry experience an asset

**Education Required**

University or Post-Graduate College Degree in Finance, Economics or Management

Related certification an asset: CIA, CFA, ACCA etc

**Required Skills**:

- Must be proficient in English, written and verbal communication
- Ability to communicate in Spanish would be an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel
- A high level of integrity, displaying ethics and a commendable value system
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Must be able to interact and work collaboratively with others
- Team player
