**Job Summary**
- The Faculty of Open Learning and Career Development (OLCD) develops and delivers innovative and diverse educational programs for more than 5000 students annually to help them navigate the changing world of learning and work. Reporting to the Director, Information Management, the Systems Analyst is a key resource in providing student information, data, reporting, and systems operational support for Dalhousie’s Continuing and Professional Education information system (Destiny One) and manages user support for Destiny One for all staff across the university.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide consulting services, identify appropriate alternatives and workflows, and manage changes to system requirements to ensure user experience requirements are supported as they arise across all aspects of the system.
- Support all Destiny One system users across the university in ensuring the accuracy, completeness and quality of information entered in the system for courses, students and instructors.
- Proactively explore all aspects of Destiny One to continue to improve usage of the system across all functionalities and to enable continuous improvement by all users.
- Provide training and technical support to staff in the use of student registration system and, where gaps are identified, develop additional training materials.
- Engage new units in performing business analysis and respond to a wide variety of technical inquiries as well as troubleshoot user issues.
- Support the Director, Information Management in generating timely Destiny One data reports for the Faculty on a regular basis and as required.

**Note**
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in related field such as information management, business, or computer science, plus approximately three to five years’ relevant experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Computer skills including demonstrated mastery of MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), and complex, multi-functional information systems (Destiny One or a similar system) are required, as is an understanding of data quality and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to problem-solve to address various inquiries and concerns.
- Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

**Assets**
- Familiarity with software testing, change management, documentation management, and business analysis processes.
