Business Support Lead

Reporting to the Business Unit Director of the Companion Animal division the Business Support Lead will be responsible for the following tasks:
Provide event planning capabilities to the Companion Animal team to assist in the achievement of yearly financial objectives. Liaise with other companion animal teams (marketing and sales) and other divisions (livestock and swine) to create cross functional efficiencies.

Occasional PO creations and org chart management for division

Planning and organization of office activities and internal meetings such as upper management market visits (when applicable)

Business support resource for Leadership team

Evaluating and Processing sponsorship requests

Occasional support to the Canada Sr Vice President

**Professional Development**

Develop and execute individual development plan to enhance work related competencies.

**Qualifications**:

- Five+ years of administrative and event management experience with an emphasis on project support with the ability to carry out projects with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with a set budget and negotiate with vendors
- Understanding of the industry they work in and what clients usually prefer for events
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability and initiative to work without supervision and handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines, while also working in team environments.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, with ability to anticipate needs, prioritizes responsibilities, and takes initiative.
- Knowledge of Zoetis systems is desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of management and colleague business styles.
- Bilingual (French and English)

Sous la responsabilité du Directeur de l'unité commerciale de la division animaux de compagnie, le Chef du Support aux affaires sera responsable des tâches suivantes:
Fournir des capacités de planification d'événements à l'équipe des animaux de compagnie pour aider à atteindre les objectifs financiers annuels. Évaluer et traiter les demandes de parrainage

Soutien occasionnel au premier vice-président du Canada

**Développement professionnel**

Élaborer et exécuter un plan de développement individuel pour améliorer les compétences liées au travail.

**Exigences**:

- Cinq ans et plus d'expérience dans l'administration et la gestion d'événements, avec un accent sur le soutien de projets et la capacité de mener à bien des projets dans des délais serrés.
- Capacité à travailler avec un budget fixe et à négocier avec les fournisseurs.
- Compréhension de l'industrie dans laquelle ils travaillent et des préférences des clients en matière d'événements.
- Motivé(e) et doté(e) de solides compétences organisationnelles.
- Capacité et initiative démontrées pour travailler sans supervision et gérer des tâches multiples avec des délais serrés, tout en travaillant également en équipe.
- Capacité à travailler en équipe
- Débrouillardise démontrée, avec la capacité d'anticiper les besoins, de prioriser les responsabilités et de prendre des initiatives.
- Excellentes aptitudes à la communication, avec une capacité à répondre avec professionnalisme, y compris par écrit et par courriel.
- La connaissance des systèmes Zoetis est souhaitable.
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Outlook Word, Excel et PowerPoint.
- Capacité à communiquer et à travailler efficacement avec tous les niveaux de gestion et les styles de travail des collègues.
- Bilingue (français et anglais)
