**Position Overview**:
As the General Manager, you will lead all aspects of our rental car operations, driving profitability, customer satisfaction, and staff performance. You will manage day-to-day activities while developing and implementing long-term business strategies to ensure the success of the branch. We are looking for a leader who understands the importance of delivering warm, approachable, and friendly service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Operational Management**: Oversee all daily operations, including vehicle inventory, fleet maintenance, and customer service. Ensure efficient, timely service that meets the highest industry standards while emphasizing a welcoming and hospitable approach.
- **Staff Leadership**: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team. Foster a positive work environment focused on collaboration, high performance, and genuine hospitality.
- **Customer Service**: Champion a culture of exceptional service. Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally, ensuring a friendly and memorable experience.
- **Financial Oversight**: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Track and analyze key performance metrics to maximize profitability.
- **Business Development**: Identify and execute opportunities for revenue growth. Maintain relationships with key airport and corporate partners, and drive marketing initiatives to attract new business.
- **Compliance**: Ensure the branch adheres to all company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Manage audits and inspections.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in a management role within the car rental, hospitality, or related industry. Experience managing airport locations is a plus.
- **Leadership Skills**: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflict, and drive results in a high-pressure environment.
- **Customer Focus**: Deep commitment to delivering exceptional and hospitable customer service. Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and build rapport with diverse clientele.
- **Financial Acumen**: Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and revenue management. Ability to drive cost-saving measures without sacrificing service quality.
- **Problem Solving**: Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to think on your feet and handle unexpected situations with composure.
- **Communication**: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in [Languages, if relevant] is an asset.
- **Technology Proficiency**: Familiarity with rental car reservation software and fleet management systems.
