Siaron Medical is expanding its team

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to fill the role of Project Installation Technician/Apprentice with our Eastern team. Siaron is looking for enthusiastic people with a positive attitude and an eagerness to succeed. With our new warehouse in Woodstock, ON, we need a dedicated team member who is excited about helping us grow our business while learning new skills and gaining job satisfaction on each completed project.
As Canada’s market leader of medical imaging installations and projects, we have completed 2,000 projects across the country since 2009. These projects involve multi-million dollar medical systems such as MRI’s, CT and X-Ray, and due to customer demand we need to expand our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assisting and then leading in the installation/relocation of complex multi-million dollar diagnostic medical systems e.g. MRI, CT, X-Ray
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Load and unload new medical equipment at our new warehouse location
- Uncrate medical equipment and prepare for shipping
- Drive all Siaron vehicles in a safe and timely manner whilst obeying the law at all times
- Perform safe rigging of diagnostic imaging system into medical facilities
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
- Attend all required training courses e.g. First Aid, Forklift Training
- Work to the highest standards, whilst being presentable & professional at all times
- Complete all documentation required for each aspect of your performed tasks
- Following all aspects of Siaron Medical’s ISO 9001:2015 Processes
- Mechanical ability in order to install equipment with the team
- Clean Class 5 driving license
- Smart and organized and can follow written processes
- Truck driving - including experience of correct loading of weight distribution and load securement.
- Must have Valid and Current Ontario DZ license, with a clean driver abstract.
- Experience in rigging large heavy objects.
- No criminal record
- Forklift Certification
- Flexible and willing to travel and being away from home
- Fully Covid-19 vaccinated and follow all government provincial and company Covid-19 requirements

This is a full-time, permanent position with most of the work being done between Monday to Friday. However, the nature of this position is such that occasional work outside of those hours, including weekend work, may be required.

Salary range based on contract $50 - $60k. Possible overtime + Medical benefits
