Come grow with us...North American Stamping looking to hire. We are looking for a Kaizen Technician to join our team As a Kaizen Technician you will provide support to all departments by developing, assisting, & being proactive in the creation and implementation of Continuous Improvements.

**The position duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Ability to operate a Press as required to create & implement Continuous Improvement projects
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process within the facility
- Fill in all reports properly and completely
- Maintain 5S in all areas in which project is being completed
- Maintain all tools in proper places
- Support all Associate Involvement team activities as required for Continuous Improvement
- Suggest methods of improvement, (ie Continuous Improvement Plan)
- Provide suggestions and solutions per the Associate Involvement program
- Preventative maintenance as instructed
- Complete PMA training courses
- Operator forklift truck as required
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:

- Experience in metal stampings, including setting-up and minor troubleshooting
- Basic welding and fabrication
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Superior interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgement in a team environment
- Able to lift up to 45lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis.
- Exposure to noisy environment
- Previous press operator experience
- TQPS training
