**THE ROLE - Procurement Manager**

Procurement Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- **Supplier Relationship Management**:Establish and maintain strong relationships with service providers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of waste management and recycling services.
- **Procurement Strategy**:Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with Waste Logic’s business goals, focusing on partnership with our vendors and price optimization.
- **Contract Negotiations & Management**:Lead negotiations for contracts and service agreements with waste disposal providers, recycling vendors, and equipment suppliers. Ensure all contracts are optimized for cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**: Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier performance, and potential risks. Provide regular procurement reports to senior leadership.
- **Vendor Performance Evaluation**: Continuously assess supplier performance, ensuring high service levels, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to sustainability commitments.
- **Compliance & Risk Management**: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Proactively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**: Experience in creating budgets, forecasting, spend demand plans, and managing procurement against financial targets.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Work closely with operations, finance, and sustainability teams to ensure procurement strategies support broader organizational goals.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**:Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.

**Experience**: Minimum 5+ years in procurement, preferably within a high-volume service, brokerage or logistics business. Professional supply chain certification is a plus.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in data analysis using advanced Excel and PowerBI techniques
- Strong Microsoft Office skills

**Knowledge**:

- Expertise in procurement best practices
- Strong understanding of contract management
- Experienced in vendor negotiation

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
