**Overview of Position**:
At GM Canada, you will find self-motivated people that dream big and go the extra distance to implement innovative solutions. And innovative solutions are most often rooted in good data analytics. The Marketing Data Analyst supporting the Accessories team will play a key role in

driving revenue growth for General Motors. With a focus on putting the customer at the centre of everything we do, the role is responsible for developing business analytics & assisting the Accessories team to execute strategies to grow sales and revenue.

This includes tracking, forecasting, reporting on, analyzing and predicting Canadian Marketing and Sales performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). In addition, supporting the field team in uncovering opportunities to support dealer growth strategies and developing reports for the field team.

**Key Activities**:

- Alongside Management team, identify opportunities to drive sales/revenue opportunities and recommendations
- Collect, analyze and report data for business decisions, providing the Vehicle Accessories team with recommendations/observations based on the data analytics
- Develop PNUR (Purchases Per New Unit Retail) analytics
- Develop monthly reporting analytics & recommendations. Examples include Quick/Slow turning accessories; analytics on sales and trends
- Forecast & Communicate monthly field objectives and daily progress tracking to objective
- Support annual accessory Business Plan strategies and tactical plan execution
- Conduct Adhoc reports and analysis as required
- Gather ongoing competitive market intelligence
- Provide business and analytical support to internal stakeholders, field staff and dealers
- Interface with U.S. partners and third party business systems providers regarding systems projects

**Skills and Experience**
- Business Acumen: Ability to interpret/analyze and derive insights and contribute to the marketing team
- Quantitative abilities and proficiency with Excel, Access, SQL and PowerBI
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Highly developed oral and written communications skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

**Education**
- Relevant undergraduate degree in Business / Marketing / Data Analytics
- 2 years prior marketing/sales analytical experience.
