**The Position**

Norcada is currently looking for a Marketing and E-Commerce manager to lead our marketing activities and e-commerce. The main responsibilities in this position include handling marketing projects and programs, promotions, events on one side, as well as supporting our E-commence and online presence on various platforms. This position will manage our online presence (Website, ecommerce, social media, etc.), our conference and exhibition presence, as well as our contractors supporting these activities.

This is a full time, permanent position and provides medical and pension benefits. This position reports directly to a Senior Executive.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Customer interaction including phone and online engagement. We are active in international markets and work may extend outside of the regular “9 to 5”.
- Develop and deliver social media optimization (SMO) and search engine optimization (SEO). Maintain and report on company’s web analytics.
- Oversee and prepare marketing material for online and print media
- Review and approve content on a daily basis. Create and manage monthly promotions
- Stay current with social media trends and best practices
- Research opportunities and execute plans for new social, print, tradeshow, and event marketing platforms
- Maintain and update our website and e-commerce platforms, increase awareness of our products and services
- Support our sales and technical teams with preparation and publication of data, white papers, news, new product announcements and online interactions
- Initiate and manage grants supporting our marketing and sales initiatives (e.g. CADP)
- Enhance our customers’ accessibility to various purchasing options, product information and various technical support channels
- Coordinate people, projects, and sales activities in order to support our world-renowned delivery excellence
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism that is required from employees of a trusted high-tech brand

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Post-secondary education in business, communications, engineering, science, or related area (BSc, BCom, or MBA)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing and E-commerce, preferably with interaction in manufacturing and/or product distribution fields
- Proven experience in developing proposals and project plans
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as work experience in CRM (Salesforce)
- Ability to work in a product development and B2B sales environment
- Experience with e-commerce sales channels is highly desired
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing (print, events, virtual tradeshows) and media platforms user (Vimeo, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr etc.), including their respective users and how they can be utilized
- Website design experience is an asset. Managing website and ecommerce projects experience is a must.
- Experience with graphics design, Adobe software or equivalent packages is highly desired
- Good technical understanding and ability to learn new hardware and software quickly in a fast paced/high tech environment
- Has excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and skills, written and verbal, in English are must haves.
- Has the ability to work independently and in cooperation with customers and collaborators in various countries
- Has the ability to collaborate with various engineering and non-technical teams
- Can identify and understand issues and opportunities. Compare data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Has training and experience in process management or project management
- Feels comfortable working assertively in a deadline-driven environment
- Is detail-oriented and organized
- Lives within the greater Edmonton Area
