**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to create precise and captivating job descriptions tailored to the commissioning industry.
- Build, implement and maintain a recruitment strategy that includes leveraging traditional recruitment channels, as well as less conventional methods such as specialized job boards, networking and employment outreach events.
- Develop and foster strategic partnerships with post-secondary institutions in related fields.
- Support hiring managers with staffing requirements in Canada, as well provide support to our USA operations based out of Houston, Texas.
- Efficiently organize and facilitate interviews, adapting to both virtual and in-person formats, to ensure a seamless and efficient process.
- Take charge of reference checks and coordinate comprehensive background screenings as necessary for contracted roles.
- Manage and maintain applicant tracking systems with meticulous attention to data accuracy.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices within both recruitment and the heavy industrial project sector.

**Qualifications**:

- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrate a robust track record of success in recruitment, with a minimum of 3 years of prior experience within a recruitment agency, showcasing a specialization in industrial staffing within the heavy industrial project sector.
- Showcase an in-depth understanding of recruitment processes, techniques, and tools, coupled with a comprehensive grasp of the nuances of the heavy industrial landscape.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building connections and collaborating across diverse teams.
- Demonstrate exemplary time management abilities and an adept skillset in task prioritization.
- Display familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software, enhancing the efficiency of the recruitment process.
- Highly skilled with current industry software including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Reflect a comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly within the Canadian provinces.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
