**What can I expect to do in this role?**:
**Work Description**

Supporting a team in project work and/or communications planning and delivery, you may have the opportunity to work on some or all of the following activities:

- Prepare, edit, and proofread various communication/project documents. (e.g. presentations, marketing material, web content, news releases, communications, etc.).
- Prepare and organize correspondence, perform data entry and word processing functions, and create a variety of documents.
- Support a team in planning, organizing, and coordinating communication and/or project activities. (e.g. developing presentations and marketing material, and planning conferences, events, tours, etc.)
- Conduct research and perform analysis. (i.e. communication reports, presentations, project plans, etc.)
- Work with graphics, web publishing, photo library, and/or project management software.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage daily assigned work.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory**:
You must meet **all** eligibility criteria by the first day of employment (contracts begin between May and July):

- **Age**: You must be a minimum of 15 years of age. There is no maximum age limit.
- ** Residency**: You must be a resident of Ontario during the term of employment.
- ** Work Status**: You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. You are also required to have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) upon being hired.

Please note this position is bilingual (English / French). Applicants must demonstrate oral and written proficiency in both languages to be eligible for this opportunity.

- You have knowledge of and/or experience with writing, editing, and proofreading various communication documents.
- You have knowledge of and/or experience with graphics and/or web publishing, and project management software.

- You input data accurately and generate reports, paying close attention to detail.
- You work independently or as part of a team; you plan, organize, and prioritize your work to meet competing deadlines.
