Field Sales Specialist

**Essential Duties**:
- Represent NGK/NTK at the tactical field level, within the jobber store and ASP community in assigned territory
- Discuss, follow, and implement the strategic Account Plan at the store level
- Perform face-to-face engagements with jobber store managers and/or owners to achieve minimum engagement numbers per month, as directed by NSM.
- Responsible for the rollout of new products and to create, coordinate and implement the ‘pull-through’ demand for new & existing lines with each jobber within your assigned territory
- Fulfill the store-level activities identified [where applicable] within the Key Account Specialist’s ‘Strategic Account Plan’.
- Report all meetings/learnings and tasks on the CRM, and create follow-up tasks
- Gather market data, competitive intelligence, and other feedback. Report findings in the CRM against the customer record and notify [or tag] the Key Account Specialist of any issues/actions requiring interaction with the customer’s Head Office.
- Promote and sign up [with store salespersons and/or independently], Automotive Service Providers [ASP] to the Tech Squad platform and meet minimum monthly sign-up targets as directed by NSM
- Create and arrange training with each jobber/group’s counter persons on NGK/NTK products to ensure their knowledge is current and they are capable of promoting NGK/NTK products to the [ASP].
- Process warranty claims, organize tech clinics and review jobber store’s business activities and sales results.
- Review and update the inventories of jobber stores within your territory; this includes labeling shelves/bins with NGK/NTK products and adding new part numbers to the inventory shelves.
- Assist customers in matching inventory with the marketplace by utilizing Parts Popularity reports, customer sales history, and other associated data.
- Participate in monthly account reviews/updates with the relevant Key Account Specialist
- Provide technical knowledge to customers when needed.
- Notify Jobbers when new products or product lines are launched.
- Participate in customer events including trade shows, open houses, training meetings, or golf events within your given territory as directed by NSM or Key Account Specialist
- Complete all other reports and other associated paperwork as required (i.e. call reports, monthly sales reports, etc.)
**Other Duties**:
- Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned.
