**Typical Duties
- Writing and creating documentation in accordance with technical specifications and applicable standards
- Analyzing technical data and drafting procedures
- Performing technical analysis of modifications
- Researching additional technical information from our main client
- Provide SME experience to the writing and illustration teams to develop the most comprehensive and concise information possible
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet budget and schedule constraints and delivery requirements
- Other duties as assigned

**Required and Asset Skills & Experience
- Experience as a technician (mechanical, avionics, aerospace, electrical etc.) or authoring technical publications would be an asset
- Experience with S1000D, ATA2200, DITA and/or MIL-SPEC specifications is an asset
- Previous use and/or knowledge of Simplified English and SGML/XML would also be an asset
- Previous use and/or knowledge of Adobe Framemaker, Quicksilver and/or Arbortext Editor is an asset
- Proficient in English, both written and oral (a requirement due to multinational environment)
- Proficiency in French, both written and oral an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook
- Required to be onsite in Mirabel QC for training
