The Client Experience Office (CXO) aims to provide a delightful and holistic "One Sun Life" experience to Clients as we help them achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. We design and execute clear, compelling and caring journeys to help Clients navigate some of the most important moments of their lives.

Through personalized, proactive and relevant content, we act on a deep understanding of Client needs on a multitude of communication channels - so we can be there for Clients when and where they need us.

**Role Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager of Performance Marketing, the Digital Marketing Co-op position will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to deliver marketing and communications initiatives to meet our Client-focused objectives and drive business results. You will be working on the national wealth advertising campaign that is focused on increasing Canadians’ familiarity with Sun Life’s wealth products and services. You will also be supporting the national SEM campaign and helping to deliver high-quality and cost-effective leads to Sun Life’s advisors. You will be liaising with media and creative agency partners as well as multiple internal stakeholders within Business, Legal, Compliance to successfully produce modern, relevant, and high-quality marketing materials on schedule.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Support the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives for the Performance Marketing team, including digital display, paid search, paid social, and SEM
- Establish strong working relationships with internal/external stakeholders - including Creative Services, Legal, Compliance, etc. - to launch new tactics effectively
- Manage the end-to-end content review and translations processes to successfully deliver all initiatives - including translation, branding, legal and compliance
- Proofread copy and images to co-ordinate final sign-off on all key initiatives
- Track and report metrics of key digital tactics as required
- Support Performance Marketing Team with additional strategic projects as required
- Document and maintain up-to-date processes and internal best practices
- Work closely with agencies and in-house teams to optimize marketing initiatives to drive customer experience and acquisition
- Support with budget management and other team support as required

**Key Competencies**:

- Education - registered undergraduate university/college program in business/marketing/communications or equivalent
- Digital Marketing - solid understanding and experience with digital marketing channels, including social media, paid search, programmatic etc.)
- Analytical Mindset - ability to draw insights from data to inform future campaign design
- Organizational Skills - proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver against required timelines, on time and on budget
- Relationship Management - proven ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Business Curiosity - Comfort seeking new approaches to solving business problems and challenging the status quo to improve the Client experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), with superb attention to detail in reviewing marketing materials
- Copywriting - experience in, and ability to, create persuasive digital direct-to-Client communications including paid search copy, social media advertising
- Creative thinker
- Ability to work independently and closely with other team members across the organization

**Nice to have**:

- Bilingual (English & French)
- Experience with web analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics)
- Experience with CRM tools and marketing technologies

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
