**Administrative Assistant for CA Firm (Hybrid)**

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team in an **Administrative Assistant** role. **Position Summary**:
The Administrative Assistant’s primary responsibility is to provide administrative and professional support to all partners and team members of the firm. We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to jump in and help the team as needed.

We are a busy, growing firm, and you must be comfortable working independently while continually learning new things, giving accurate and timely information, and offering the highest level of service with tact, both internally and externally. You will be essential to the growth of new and existing customer relationships.

Initially, this role will be in office 5 days a week so that the incumbent can learn and perform the role well. After a three month period, management will consider if the individual is able to work in office 4 days a week and 1 day at home.

**Responsibilities**
- Editing financial statements using Jazzit/Caseview
- Electronic filing of corporate and personal income tax returns
- Printing monthly reports using database and Excel
- Preparing invoices using our Practice Management program
- Assisting with filing and answering occasional phone calls
- Scanning and tracking documents sent to clients and the tax department
- Updating and maintaining client database (Goldmine)

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- College or University degree preferred
- **Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a professional administrative capacity, preferably in an accounting firm**:

- **Knowledge of Jazzit - Caseware for editing of financial statements**:

- Knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with financial statement presentation
- Familiar with Taxprep or similar tax programs
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Works under pressure to meet deadlines
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to take on new tasks
- Availability to work overtime, if necessary, during tax season
- Exceptionally well organized
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
