Napier Outdoors is looking for a part time HR guru to add to our growing team in the newly created role of HR Specialist. The new teammate you will search the market to hire the perfect team members to add to our small but mighty workforce, while keeping the current team well-coordinated, well-equipped and overall jolly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- **Recruitment**: perform all stages of the recruitment process from job creation, sourcing to onboarding
- **Onboarding & Training**: Develop and implement training initiatives and programs
- **Project Management**: communicate project plans, timelines and deliverables, provide direction to employees, and evaluate employee performance
- **Employee Relations**: Support employee growth and development. Manage employee communication and feedback channels
- **Organizational Culture**: Foster a collaborative, inclusive and engaging workplace culture built on trusting work relationships. Develop and implement team building strategies, employee recognition, wellness and incentive programs
- **Performance management**: implement performance management system and appraisal tools. Conduct performance evaluations and meetings.
- **Policy**: streamline HR policy and procedures. Implement and maintain company policy and procedures to ensure all departments run efficiently
- **Health & Safety**: Manage all health and safety programs and systems ensuring safety compliance

EXPERIENCE & TALENTS
- 5+ years of HR experience
- University Degree/College Diploma in HR or related field
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong planning and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated
